Start your day with purpose and power! Our Intercession Ministry is a dedicated time of prayer, held Monday to Saturday from 5 AM to 7 AM via ZOOM. Whether you’re lifting up personal needs, interceding for others, or seeking a deeper connection with God, this is a space to align your heart with His will.
Join us anytime during the session as we come together in faith, seeking God’s presence, guidance, and breakthrough for our families, communities, and the world. Let’s start each morning in His presence – because prayer changes everything
Prayer Types
1. Prayer of Adoration (Worship & Praise)
Focuses on who God is—His greatness, holiness, and love.
Example: Psalm 95:6 – “Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
2. Prayer of Thanksgiving
Expresses gratitude for God’s blessings, grace, and faithfulness.
Example: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
3. Prayer of Confession (Repentance)
Acknowledges sins, asks for forgiveness, and seeks a clean heart.
Example: 1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
4. Prayer of Petition (Supplication)
Asking God to meet personal needs (spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, etc.).
Example: Philippians 4:6 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
5. Prayer of Intercession
Standing in the gap and praying on behalf of others (family, friends, leaders, nations).
Example: 1 Timothy 2:1 – “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people.”
6. Prayer of Dedication (Consecration & Submission)
Surrendering our will to God’s will and committing ourselves to Him.
Example: Luke 22:42 – “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but Yours be done.”
7. Prayer of Agreement (Corporate Prayer)
Believers joining in united prayer, standing in faith together.
Example: Matthew 18:19-20 – “If two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
8. Prayer of Imprecation (Judgment & Justice)
Calling upon God’s justice against evil or oppression.
Example: Psalm 35:1 – “Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me.”
9. Prayer of Blessing (Benediction)
Declaring God’s favor, peace, and goodness over others.
Example: Numbers 6:24-26 – “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you.”
